Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at our lovely new Ronald McDonald House in Pasadena. We have been open since February 1st, 2004 and have been busy creating a Volunteer Program tailored to the particular needs of our beautiful Home.

Let's begin by familiarizing you with our Volunteer Program to help you decide which areas might best suit you. There are three basic areas for volunteering:

• Special Events -  Special Events involve helping us plan and put on an individual event. This type of volunteering is more concentrated on a specific period of time.

• Special Projects - Special Projects involve helping with a particular area of the House: seasonal yard work; establishing and maintaining our library of books, videos and cd’s; toys and games organization; mailings and so on.

• Innkeepers - Innkeepers' duties would be maintenance, cleaning, data entry, baking and other tasks that need to be done on a regular basis.

• Meals of Love - Gather your friends, co-workers or church members together and cook a meal for our families. This is a wonderful and easy way to help out at the House.

We think you will find being involved with the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House during these early months to be an exciting and creative experience and we look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to work together.
