Groups

Groups play an enormous part in our House's success.

Here are just some of the ways your Group can contribute:

Special Events

During the year we organize many fundraisers and special events to help raise money for our House. Groups are always needed to work pre, during and post event. Duties sometimes include setup, giving directions, crowd control, serving food and cleanup.

"Meals of Love"

Families often spend all day at the hospital and when they return to the House, have no energy to make dinner. Our "Meals of Love" allows volunteers to give families a night off by preparing dinner or bringing a dinner to serve and cleanup up afterward. The parents appreciate the chance to relax and enjoy the meal - with no dishes to do. You may also meet one or more of our families!

Work Groups

Great for team building, corporate, school, church and social groups. Ooprtunities include indoor and outdoor projects - indoor deep cleaning, outdoor gardening, landscaping projects and cleanup projects. House maintenance, repairs and upgrades are always needed as well.

Drives and Donations

We have our "Pennies for Purpose" canisters that can be filled by your group and "Pull Tab" program that both help raise funds for our House. You may also collect non-perishable food, paper products, cleaning and laundry supplies or other items for our families. We also give families postage stamps and calling cards so they can stay connected with friends and family. View our Wish List for a list of current needs.

Scouts

We have many girl and boy scouts performing many service projects at our House while working towards all levels of badge work including prestigious Eagle and Gold awards. We are always happy to work with these groups toward their goals.

Get your group involved today!

Our Program Manager, Dyanne Schultz would love to meet with your group, give you a House tour, discuss our mission and explore the many ways your group might be able to help meet our needs. Contact Dyanne today at (626) 585-1588 x 106. You can also email her at dyanne@pasadenarmh.org for more information.
